Northbound
Northbound is a comic book project depicting the story of Andry Baldursson, a bitter and unhappy professional kickboxer in the twilight of his career, living in present day New York City, who finds himself transported into the Asgardian realm of Norse Mythology and caught in a conflict between tyrannic gods and a rebelling population. Andry’s experiences in this fantastic realm will impart deep lessons on loss and the value of letting go, returning him to Earth a changed man.

Northbound started as the senior project of my university degree, and the preview pages and cover you’re seeing here went on to win 1st place in the comics category of the Academy of Art University’s Annual Spring Show in May 2022. I've went on to consistently keep working on the project long after my graduation, hoping to one day publish this epic story, which is close to my heart.
